About the event

Draw a Monarch Workshop
Have you ever wanted to contribute to an exhibition at Texas Science & Natural History Museum? Now’s your chance!

Join local artist Clare Wuellner for a celebration of science and art. During a guided one-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to draw an anatomically correct monarch butterfly while exploring what makes these iconic pollinators so fascinating. Your butterfly will be incorporated in a brand-new art installation at the museum, opening Spring 2026.

Workshops take place on Saturday, September 27 at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Each workshop is free with paid museum admission. No supplies needed!

Spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Get ready to see monarchs in a whole new way!
