What to expect from regular Yoga practice:
Flexibility and strength: stiff joints loosen up, and muscles tend to become more toned and resilient.
Stress relief: learn to breathe slowly and mindfully. This helps calm our nervous system and ease anxiety or tension.
Better posture and balance: Yogic poses help us stand taller and feel more grounded.
Improved sleep: The relaxing effects of yoga can contribute to deeper, more restful sleep.
Mental clarity and focus: Mindfulness practices in yoga—like breath awareness and meditation—can help clear mental clutter and improve concentration.
Boosted mood: It’s not just in our head—yoga can actually help increase serotonin levels and lower cortisol, which may leave us feeling more uplifted.
