Help us plant the future at Longmead Reserve!

Come join us for a morning of planting of NZ natives — we’d love for you to join us! This popular local reserve, with its easy walking paths and mature trees, is a treasured green space for the Browns Bay community and is loved by locals for exercise and as a shortcut through the neighbourhood.

By planting more native species, we’re enhancing the area for local wildlife and future generations to enjoy.

Come along and bring your friends, family, and neighbours — everyone is welcome, and no experience is needed!

🧤 What to bring:

Gardening gloves
A spade (if you have one)
Water and snacks
Sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing
