Sondheim's "Company" the Musical Performances

From musical theatre's most renowned composer, Company is largely regarded as a trailblazer of the dark-comedy, modern-musical genre and winner of six Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Score, Best Lyrics and Best Book

On the night of his 35th birthday, confirmed bachelor, Robert, contemplates his unmarried state. Over the course of a series of dinners, drinks and even a wedding, his friends - "those good and crazy people his married friends" - explain the pros and cons of taking on a spouse. The habitually single Robert is forced to question is adamant retention of bachelorhood during a hilarious array of interactions. Sondheim's game-changing musical is a sophisticated and honest look at modern adult relationships

Performances will be held at Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center at 222 E Drake Avenue in Auburn, Alabama on the following dates: July 18, 19, 24 and 26 at 7 p.m., July 25 at 7:30 p.m., July 20 and 27 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for children, students and seniors. This show is rated PG13 for depictions of adults situations and use of alcohol/recreational drugs.
