Penelope Ex Machina at McGuire’s

Penelope Ex Machina take the stage for their debut appearance at McGuire’s Sports Bar & Grill.

Alt pop band Penelope Ex Machina performs original songs by vocalist and songwriter Penelope Rose. Through melodically-driven compositions and meticulous attention to detail, Penelope’s music addresses psychopathology, social and perceptual phenomena, neurodivergence and dreamlike imagination–all set to catchy melodies and infectious hooks. Influenced by Peter Gabriel, Elvis Costello and Lady Gaga, Penelope Ex Machina have been compared to contemporary acts like Chappell Roan, Florence and the Machine and Desden Dolls as well as classics including David Bowie, Kate Bush and Garbage.

Penelope ex Machina is Penelope Rose (vocals, keys, ukulele, composition), Peter Johnson (guitar, SOMA Terra), Brandon Butrick (bass) and Jason Fordney (drums).
