Auditions for Jane Austin's "Pride and Prejudice"

FINAL AUDITIONS NOTICE for Pride and Prejudice on Wednesday, September 17th and September 24th, 5:00 - 7:00 pm. This play is produced in partnership with Young Singer Actor II (actors 11 - 18) and Music & More Family Theater.

Roles for teens and young adults include:
Mr. Darcy - prideful, wealthy, upper class (28)
Elizabeth Bennet - witty, independent (20)
Jane Bennet - mild, loving and beautiful (22)
Lydia Bennet - lively, flirtatious (15)
Catherine Bennet - lively, jovial (17)
Mary Bennet - serious, studious (18)
Charlotte Lucas - a practical, spinster (27)
Mr. Bingley - a wealthy, pleasant, upperclass (23)
Caroline Bingley - Mr. Bingley's jealous, fashionable sister (20)
Miss Georgiana - Mr. Darcy's sweet, musical sister (15)
Mr. Wickham - a handsome, charming, devious soldier (27)
Captain Carter - a friendly young soldier (21)
Captain Denny - a friendly young soldier (21)

Adult actors are invited to audition for any of the roles including the following:
Mr. Bennet - jovial, witty father of the Bennet girls
Mrs. Bennet - highly emotional mother of the Bennet girls
Mr. Collins - Bennet's bumbling cousin/curate looking for a wife
Lady Catherine de Bourge - haughty patroness of Mr. Collins
Mrs. Hurst - Mr. Bingley's married, fashionable sister
Mrs. Gardner- The Bennet's loving, thoughtful aunt
Mr. Gardner - A wealthy business man and Mrs. Bennet's brother
Sir William Lucas - Charlotte's friendly, officious father
Lady Lucas - Charlotte's mother, a friendly, social butterfly.
