Celebration of Wellness & Community

Join us on Friday, July 25 at 9:00 AM at the Heimach Center (DeKalb Council on Aging) for a joyful surprise celebration during our weekly Zumba Gold class! We’re honoring a very special participant turning 90 and highlighting the powerful partnership between Auburn Parks and Recreation and the Council on Aging.

This event is more than just a birthday—it’s a celebration of active aging, community connection, and nonprofit collaboration. Together, we provide free wellness programs that support the health and social engagement of older adults in DeKalb County.

The DeKalb County Visitors Bureau and local media will also be in attendance to help share this uplifting story.

🎉 No registration is required—just stop by to move, cheer, and celebrate!
🥫 Attendees are encouraged to bring a canned good to support our local food bank.
