In 2024, 107 lives were lost to gun violence in Atlanta alone—part of a national crisis where firearms remain the leading cause of death for children and young adults.

To confront this epidemic, we envision a future free from gun violence. Join us for UNITY in Our CommUNITY—a day of action, connection, and shared commitment to building safer neighborhoods through Community Violence Intervention (CVI) and prevention efforts.

We’re taking action to stop the violence. Join us at UNITY in Our CommUNITY as we:

🌍 Highlight national & local CVI success stories
📣 Amplify voices from Metro Atlanta’s CVI network
💥 Inspire real action for safer communities

Join us for an impactful gathering where national and local leaders will present effective solutions to reduce gun violence and foster peace in our communities. Hear directly from Atlanta’s local CVI (Community Violence Intervention) leaders—the original “Boots on the Ground”—HOPE Hustlers, Wii Care, Cure Violence OAA, and Teenz on Point, as they share powerful testimonials from the front lines.

They’ll be joined by respected Atlanta-based CVI experts:

• Dr. Randi Smith, Grady Hospital
• Stephanie Reed, Ruff Ryders to the Rescue Foundation

Special guest speakers from across the country will lend their insights and experience, including:
