"School of Rock" is about a struggling musician who pretends to be a substitute teacher and transforms a class of prep school students into a rock band. The film stars Jack Black as Dewey, while the musical features a cast of young, talented musicians playing their instruments live on stage.
The 2003 movie "School of Rock" follows Dewey Finn, a guitarist and singer who is kicked out of his band. He scams his way into a teaching position at a prestigious prep school, where he discovers the musical talent of his students. He forms a band with them to compete in a Battle of the Bands competition. The film is known for its humor and Jack Black's energetic performance.
