SOS Adoption Event

We will be at the shelter Saturday 6/28 from 10-3 and Sunday 6/29 from 12 til 3.

Come meet and adopt a new dog or cat!

PLEASE come visit Nutmeg, Sage, Sal, Bruno, and Genevieve. Five precious dogs urgently looking for their forever families. 🐾🙏🐕

🆘ADOPTERS NEEDED ASAP!!!!🆘

The adoption fee for these specific dogs has been WAIVED. Adoption applications can be submitted on our website, www.mrhumane.org . Once processed and approved, potential adopters will be contacted to schedule a meet and greet.

Approved adopters will receive 1 free training session with a local trainer right here in Athens to ensure our pups and their new families are set up for success! Unless otherwise notes, dogs can be tested with cats in the presence of an approved adopter.

Negative comments will be removed. The MRHS staff and volunteers work tirelessly in cooperation with the City of Athens Animal Shelter staff to care for and find homes for the unwanted animals of McMinn County.
