To kick off the new Greek-Irish Society year in earnest, we will be hosting our annual post-summer get-together on Sunday, September 28, at the Athens Centre, from 7pm to 10pm.
This event always offers the opportunity to meet up with old acquaintances and catch up on news, but also to get to know new members. The committee will provide some drinks and nibbles.
As always, on the evening we would like members to put on their thinking caps and let us know of any ideas or suggestions they might have for events they would like to see during the year. Comments on past events are also welcome.
Once again, Rosemary Donnelly has very kindly offered us the Athens Centre in Pangrati for the event. We were glad to accept her offer as we know that, thanks to Rosemary’s hospitality, our members always feel very much at home there.
