In consideration of those Kappa owners who may not be traveling to Taos, New Mexico in June for the 20th NASSAM, but wish to participate in a similar but smaller scale activity closer to home, we are offering four days of driving (Wed-Sat) in Southeast Ohio in July. This event is for Kappa's only.
Athens, OH has capitalized on the roads in the region by developing the "Windy9" concept. [WINDY: Adjective. (of a path etc) Having many bends; winding, twisting or tortuous. Not Windy as in weather.]
Nine routes that begin and end in Athens, have been condensed into seven routes, extending to the west to incorporate the Hocking Hills and to the east to incorporate Ohio State Route 555, the "Triple Nickle".
Bob Feigel has secured a block of 20 rooms that is expandable as needed at the Hampton Inn. Pricing will be $141.56/night inclusive of taxes and fees. Free breakfast will be included. A link has been created for your reservations:

The city wishes us to participate in a car show one evening that they will sponsor. They may also sponsor some snacks for the group at the hotel on arrival night and provide goodie bags with area information.
Unlike a traditional NASSAM, there will be no Banquet, Ice Cream Social, Organized Group Photo, Charity, etc. Just fun driving.
