Την Παρασκευή 16.1.26, η Danai Simou και η Emi Path θα παρουσιάσουν μια βραδιά πλημμυρισμένη από σκοτεινούς τόνους στο Underathens Association προσφέροντας μια έντονη ηχητική εμπειρία. Ένα οπτικοακουστικο κάλεσμα, μια κατάδυση στο κόσμο τους και μια διαδρομή προς τον πυρήνα μας.
Danai Simou
Η Δανάη Σίμου είναι μια εικαστικός καλλιτέχνης, με μέσα έκφρασης της τη φωτογραφία, τη σκηνοθεσία, τη μουσική, την ποίηση και το performance. Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα
αφορούν θέματα όπως την αυτο-εθνογραφία, τη σεξουαλικότητα και την ταυτότητα. Η πρακτική της ακολουθεί, ενσωματώνει και καταγράφει την παρουσία του έρωτα, της αποτυχίας, του τραύματος, της φύσης και της ψυχογραφίας του ανθρώπου μέσα στις συνθήκες και τα περιβάλλοντα αυτά.
Έχει δημοσιεύσει πληθώρα βιβλίων τέχνης, ποίησης και φωτογραφίας οπως "Womanhood" (Meta Cosmology, Taiwan), "Worms" (Coherent States, Athens), και τις αυτοεκδόσεις "Full Moon", "Eclipse", "Romance" & "Recycled Memories". Έχει επίσης συμμετάσχει σε διαφορετικές εκθέσεις και φεστιβάλ στην Ευρώπη (Ελλάδα, Γαλλία, Αγγλία, Ρουμανία κλπ.).
Το «New Moon» είναι η πρώτη ολοκληρωμένη μουσική κυκλοφορία της Δανάης Σίμου. Χαρακτηρισμένο από την lo-fi, σκοτεινή, πειραματική, chamber αισθητική του, είναι μια ηχητική αφήγηση των σταδίων μιας σχέσης. Αγάπη, φόβος, απογοήτευση, θυμός και επανεκκίνηση. Πέντε ερωτικά ποιήματα μεταμορφωμένα σε ηχοτοπία φτιαγμένα από ξεκούρδιστα πιάνα, ζωντανές ηχογραφήσεις, ενορχηστρώσεις βιολιού και αναλογικά συνθεσάιζερ. Επαναλαμβανόμενο, μελαγχολικό, σαρκαστικό και επιθετικό.
Το project εκδόθηκε ψηφιακά και σε κασέτα και συνοδεύεται από δύο φωτογραφικά/ποιητικά βιβλία με τίτλους «Full Moon» και «Eclipse».
Emi Path
Η Emi Path είναι vocalist, μουσικός και συνθέτρια. Η μουσική της κινείται ανάμεσα σε alternative, indie και πειραματική μονοπάτια, με πολυεπίπεδα φωνητικά να συνυπάρχουν με drones και ηλεκτρονικά στοιχεία, διαμορφώνοντας ηχητικούς κόσμους μέσα στους οποίους η ίδια εκφράζεται ελεύθερα.

Myrto Stylou
Ανάμεσα στο Λονδίνο και την Αθήνα / τόνους μουσικής και στίχων, η Μυρτώ Στύλου βρίσκεται συχνά στη σκηνή, πίσω από ένα μικρόφωνο, μέσα στο home studio της, δίπλα σε ένα συνθεσάιζερ, θαμμένη κάτω από plugins ή καταγράφοντας όνειρα στο κρεβάτι της. Αυτό το διάστημα, εμφανίζεται στην Ευρώπη με τους Kalte Nacht, ντύνει βραδιές ως DJ με τη μουσική που θα ήθελε να χορεύει η ίδια, συνεργάζεται με σπουδαία μυαλά και καρδιές (Fonoptikon, Στέλιος Λαλούσης, Έρη Ζερβάκη, Αντώνης Βλαβογελάκης, The Model spy) και συνθέτει μουσική για θεατρικά έργα, φυτεύοντας τους σπόρους για την επερχόμενη σόλο έκφρασή της.

On Friday 16.1.26, Emi Path and Danai Simou will present an evening ablazed by dark tones at the Underathens Association, giving an offering of a powerful sound experience. A calling to dive into their world created, following a path to the core.
Danai Simou
Danai Simou is an interdisciplinary artist, photographer, director, musician, poet and performer. Her research interests
ponder on the subjects of auto-ethnography, sexuality and identity to speak about traumatic constructions, disorderly schemes and acts of
pleasure. Her practice follows and embodies the rhythms of experiences,
loves, failures and agonies lived; yet, it also lingers on alternative futures, and otherworldly ways of existing within social contracts, interpersonal dynamics and psychopolitical hierarchies.
Danai Simou has published various art, poetry and photography books,
such as “Womanhood” (Meta Cosmology, Taiwan), “Worms” ( Coherent States, Athens), and the self published “Full Moon”, “Eclipse”, “Romance” & “Recycled Memories”. She has participated in various exhibitions and festivals in Europe (Greece, France, England, Romania etc).
“New Moon” is the debut EP release of Danai Simou. Defined by its lo-fi, dark, experimental, chamber aesthetic, this album is a narration of the stages of an intimate relationship. Love, fear, disappointment, anger and a restart. Five love poems transformed into soundscapes made of broken pianos, live recordings, violin orchestrations and analog synths, partially recorded live. Repetitive, melancholic, sarcastic and aggressive. The project is presented digitally and in a limited edition tape cassette and is accompanied by two photo/poetry books entitled “Full Moon” and “Eclipse”.
Emi Path
Emi Path is a vocalist, musician, and composer. Her music moves between alternative, indie, and experimental genres, where multi-layered vocals coexist with drones and electronic elements, shaping immersive sonic worlds through which she expresses herself freely.
In 2017, she released her debut album The Shadow (self-released), followed in 2023 by her second album V O I D, released via Submersion Records. Alongside her studio work, she has released two live albums - The Shadow Live (2020) and V O I D Live (2025) - capturing the evolution of her live performance and stage presence.
In 2021, she released a drone live set recorded in collaboration with Spyros Tzekos, presented at Temple, Athens, as part of a split cassette with Ghone, titled Dive Deep - Emi Path / Nier Las Oz - Ghone.
Beyond her discography, Emi Path has been active in composing music for film and theatre. In 2020, she composed the track “Petrichor” for the short film One and a Half Question, directed by Tasos Palisidis. In 2023, she set sonnets to music and created original compositions for the theatre production Soneto, directed by Thanasis Akkokalidis.
At the same time, she is a member of the band Okeano, where she is responsible for orchestration, vocals, and synthesizers. The band released their debut album Ocean Highway in 2022.
Myrto Stylou
In between London and Athens / tons of music and words, Myrto Stylou is often found on stage, behind a microphone, inside her home studio, next to a synth, buried under plugins or writing dreams down in her bed. Currently, performing in Europe with Kalte Nacht, dressing up nights as a Dj with the music she would like to dance to, collaborating with great minds and hearts (Fonoptikon, Stelios Lalousis, Eri Zervaki, Antonis Vlavogelakis, The Model spy), and composing music for theatre plays, planting the seeds for her upcoming solo expression.
