Beginner Basics in Calligraphy Workshop

Calligraphy is the art of writing beautifully.

In this fun, one-day workshop for beginners, led by local artist and shop owner Kristen Ashley MacCarthy, you'll learn to use various writing tools from the humble pencil to brush markers and dip pens with ink. You'll learn techniques to construct your own signature lettering style, get pro tips, and enjoy practicing in a relaxed environment.

All the materials you'll need for this class will be provided. We'll use a variety of calligraphy tools and writing surfaces, and don't fret...we break out the good stuff! Better materials make your practice more enjoyable, so we look forward to sharing our quality supplies with you.

By the time class is over, you'll be ready to start lettering confidently on your own!
