Join us for the annual Holiday Craft Swap! Onto year 12! Bring your handmade items and swap them out for a cash-free, swapping good time!
Here are the details:
1. It's helpful if you respond on Facebook if you plan to go, but not required. There will be tables provided to set up your items.
2. You will bring X number of homemade, giftable items and arrange them on tables at Arts West at 11:30 am. At 12 pm, we will begin the swap. Everyone roams around and swaps, taking the same number of items that they brought themselves. If you bring 3 things, you take 3 things home. If you bring 15, you take 15. Make sure to bring something to carry your stuff home in.
3. The times are pretty strict. Set up from 11:30-12. Swapping begins at 12.
4. You can only swap for yourself. No sending out scouts to get what you want.
5. You can bundle your items if you think they are worth less. This is an honor system and some people spend more time or use more resources to make their items than others. By the time we swap, though, it all seems to even out and feel good.
6. This is cash-free. That means it is very helpful if you can help either set up or tear down, so we can keep using Arts West at no cost.
7. We don't sell anything at the swap. If you want to bring business cards, you can display them with your gifts, though.
8. The swap has a spirit of community celebration. It's a great way to share your talents and wares! Thank you for joining us in this unique holiday event year after year!
