The Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT), the nation's largest touring children's theatre, has been touring extensively for more than 40 years from Montana to Japan. A tour team arrives in a given town with a set, costumes and props - everything it takes to put on a play...except the cast. The team holds an open audition and casts 50-60 local students to perform in the production.
SNOW WHITE Audition - Monday, July 7th at 10am
An audition will be held for the production of SNOW WHITE Monday, July 7th at 10am at The Liberty Theatre. Those auditioning should arrive at 10am and plan to stay for a full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.
Approximately 50-60 roles are available for local students. All students, Kindergarten through 12th grade, are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Most students rehearse approximately 4 ½ hours each day, Monday through Friday. Performances are scheduled for Saturday, July 12th at 3pm and 5:30pm.

A young princess named Snow White finds herself in trouble when her step-mother, the Queen, is told by her Magic Mirror that the princess is fairer than she! Aided by her two Henchmen and a band of evil Bats, the Queen plots to get rid of Snow White. Snow White escapes from the Queen and from the Black Forest Creatures with help from Witless the Woodsman, and finds a home with the Seven Dwarfs. When the Queen learns of Snow White’s whereabouts, she attempts to poison Snow White. But the Queen’s evil plans are thwarted when Snow White’s fearless Forest Friends, her father King Backwards, the Seven Dwarfs and the Prince come to her rescue.
This production is part of the Missoula Children's Theatre's unique international touring project and is presented locally by The Liberty Theatre. Tickets are available at libertyastoria.org or in the Liberty Box Office.
Audition date: Monday, July 7th at 10:00 am. Meet in the lobby.
Cost of participating: Free! Please plan to bring lunches.
Rehearsals: Mon-Fri 10am-12pm and 12:15pm-2pm
