The Chronicle Singers are a collective of emerging actors and singers, specialising in music shared through narrative-driven programs of secular and sacred choral music. Traveling through time, their musical agenda extends from the 15th century through to the present day. With a combination of complete ensemble pieces and soloist narrated song, TCS brings together semi-staged works to enhance the arc of storytelling in a multi-disciplinary program.
The group, led by founder and music director Kevin Gomez, aims to serve as a catalyst for unity, equality, inclusivity, and love amongst the Brisbane community. The Chronicle Singers debuts ‘The Road Home’ in their June 2025 concert series.

Let the Chronicle Singers take your hand on a journey through space and time, much like the Charles Dickens novel, A Christmas Carol where true morals and values are tested. Unlike musical stories told before, ‘The Road Home’ takes you across seas, cultures, and histories to enlighten Brisbane audiences to the lives of before and far away. Maintaining the ideology of migration, witness the chronological evolution of music told through language and discover the beauties of love and nature as different cultures know them.
The program ends with an invitation to share in the wine spoken of in the final piece.
