Roaring Fork Rising: The Sopris Sisters with Rai Omri

The Sopris Sisters, Harper Powell and Emma Kieran, headline the evening with their fresh folk sound and heart-opening harmonies. Raised in the Rockies and now residing in the shadow of Mount Sopris, their music is inspired by luminaries like Sarah Jarosz and Shawn Colvin. Known for their poignant songwriting and captivating live performances, the duo promises an unforgettable night. Rai Omri, a Western Colorado-based songwriter, draws from a rich palette of dreams, old melodies, and the natural world in her music. Notably, she was a finalist in the 2023 Kerrville Folk Festival’s Grassy Hill New Folk Competition and the 2024 NewSong Music Songwriting Competition, and her recent sold-out show at Steve’s Guitars in Carbondale, affirming her distinctive artistic vision.
