What started as a way of decorating our Hospice gardens for patients quickly became a fixture in the festive calendar, and now the Garden of Lights is a must-see Christmas event for the whole community!
Since 2017, we’ve grown from a modest 1,000 lights to a dazzling display of over 11,000 lights that transform our gardens into a winter wonderland.
Join us for one of our seven free celebration evenings and experience the magic for yourself!
Each night features a different local choir bringing seasonal cheer, along with refreshments and festive stalls to explore. It’s a joyful, festive event that brings together families and friends, creating cherished memories together at this special time of year.
So, wrap up warm, bring your loved ones, and soak in the beautiful lights that brighten up not just our gardens, but our hearts too. Come and be part of a community tradition that truly shines!
Entry is free and you can just turn up without the need to book, for what promises to be a magical evening for all. We would love to see you there!
Please note: Parking at Willow Wood Hospice is restricted to patients, families, Blue Badge holders and our workforce. Please use the nearby Darnton Road pay and display car park (postcode OL6 6RL). The roads immediately surrounding the Hospice are a residents’ permit parking area.
