Participants will build on the basics to bring interactivity and functionality to their websites, including security, SEO and analytics.Who is this for?This workshop is suitable for those who already have their self-hosted WordPress website set up and understand how to create and mange new content, or who have attended our previous Setting up a WordPress Workshop.Participants will need to bring their own laptop (a tablet or mobile phone is not suitable) and must be confident using their device to navigate the internet, and save, edit, and manage files.What you will learn:- Reminder of topics covered on previous workshop- WordPress user levels and responsibilities- Adding functionality using WordPress Plugins- Redesigning a website using the WordPress Themes repository- Integrating external content with a WordPress website- GDPR and legal requirements including cookies- SEO and Analytics- Next stepsYou may choose to work on an existing WordPress website, or use a free live demo website (which will last for 30 days).About your facilitator:Claire Worthington has been working in digital for over 15 years, specialising in WordPress training for small businesses.
