Our last Summer touristic event this year will cover the Jbeil district in the North where we cover various religious, historical and well known places for as much time we can to visit.
Our first stop will for having breakfast up in a village in the mountains called Fatree. Once we finish breakfast we will pass by an old place where we they show us how they used to loose the soil every year in Summer using mules where we can also participate in the process, take photos and move to our second stop where we can buy organic made such as cheese, labneh, jam types, and others where still prepare them the same way our grand-grandpa's used to.
After finishing our visit to Fatree, we will head towards Mebaaj village to visit the Mebaaj cave. We will have a basic visit in that cave for an hour then head towards Mayfouq monastery but before we will have to pass by Saint Maroun's monastery in Annaya.
After we finish our religious visits we will pass by a museum in Haqel where we will watch the quick video and then a guide will attend to answer any questions we have after we see all the special rocks that have their own stamps that are thousands of years old.
Finally, we head towards souk Byblos to have lunch and have a tour in the area before we head back to our starting point by 5:30 - 6:00 maximum.
If we had extra time left we will pass by a few additional historical places in Koura that we will inform you about.
