Beginner Friendly - Basic Zinnia Flower, Santa or Christmas Tree
Create a Petal Pop Pillow or Table Runner using the pattern designed by Jeana Culbert from Sugar Bee Quilts. This class includes the instructions on how to create a charming pillow or table runner/topper! Choose your own color combinations to fit any season, holiday or your favorite sports teams. You can use daisies for spring/summer, sunflowers for summer/fall, poinsettias for winter, even a Santa or Christmas Tree.
The Petal Pop patterns include a list of materials and a paper petal template; however, it works best when paired with the Petal Pop Acrylic Template (sold separately; available at the shop). Class Fee is $25 and does not include your fabric choices, pattern or acrylic template, should you choose to purchase it.
Supplies Needed for Class:
Sewing Machine in good working order
Basic Sewing Notions (Pins, snips, seam ripper)
Rotary Cutter, Point Turner
Thread to Match fabric*
Hand Sewing Needle
Poly-fil or Pillow Form* (available for purchase at the shop)
Fabric for Project (12 Fat Quarters - see additional note below*)

*Some supplies vary depending on the project that you choose. Example - If you decide on the table runner/topper instead of the pillow, you will not need a pillow form or Poly-fil.
Pillow Fabric Requirements (17" Sq): 3-5 Fat Quarters for 21 Scrappy Petals or 1 yard total of various fabrics plus 1/2 yard for foundation of the pillow.
Table Runner/Topper Fabric Requirements (16" x 42"): 6-10 Fat Quarters for 20 Scrappy Petals and 1-1/2 yards for border, backing, binding as well as a piece of batting larger than 16 x 42
Santa: Red & White fabrics (small piece of pink & black for nose & eyes)
Tree: Various Greens, White and background fabric
