Join us for our last regular MMTD contra dance of the season, and watermelon! (regular dances resume in September.)
Russel Branchj Folk Band will be providing the tunes to the fantastic calling of Jim Thaxter.
Never tried contra dancing before? We welcome beginners! Come at 7pm for a contra dance lesson or refresher and be ready to join in when dancing officially starts at 7:30.
This dance also serves as our by-law mandated annual meeting, where we will elect board members for the following year. Please come and support our organization by being a part of this important (but brief) process. Most importantly, WE NEED YOU to help keep MMTD relevant and thriving. Please consider volunteering for the board or in other ways. (Such as serving on the spring breakdown planning committee, helping staff regular dances, or in other ways.) Then just flash your receipt when you come in the door. Alternatively, there will be a QR code at the admissions table that you can scan to go the the payment link once you arrive. A small additional fee is added to the electronic price to cover the fees we are charged for accepting electronic payments. Cash and Checks at the usual price will still be accepted at the door.
Our Ashland venue has a great dance floor, and the live music and calling shouldn't be missed. So we hope to see you there!
