A jam-packed day out for all the family, with a packed programme of brass bands, live music and activities celebrating Northumberland's coal mining heritage.
We are delighted to announce that the fabulous Mr Wilson's Second Liners will be returning to headline the main stage where New Orleans meets 90s club classics!
Free admission to the event, car parking £5.

PLAN YOUR VISIT:
Admission to the Northumberland Miners' Picnic and Woodhorn Museum is free. Parking £5.
Main Car Park: On the Event Field at Woodhorn Museum. £5 per car. Blue Badge/Accessible Parking is available in the main car park.
Bus: Free shuttle bus from Ashington Leisure Centre courtesy of WATBus Community Transport.
Food and Drink: The Winding House Café will be open, and there will be a range of local food and drink producers on site.
Assistance dogs are welcome at Woodhorn Museum. Family dogs may also accompany visitors everywhere except inside the main building and the café. The Picnic is a busy event so please bear this in mind when deciding whether bring your dog to the event.
Northumberland Miners’ Picnic Admission is free, but parking charge applies. (Picnic Day is one of the special selected community days when the Woodhorn Museum admission charges do not apply.
