Derbyshire ROSPA Machine Control Event - Darley Moor Motorcycle Road Racing Club Ltd, Darley Moor Sports Centre, Darley Moor, Ashbourne, Derbyshire DE6 2ET
We are pleased to announce that we will be running our final Machine Control Training Event at Darley Moor on Thursday 28 August 2025.
The course is free to all existing RoSPA Derbyshire group members. Prospective Members or friends of members can attend at a cost of £25 per person.
We will have access to sections of the track to provide a significant space where we can run and coordinate 5-6 machine control exercises that will include slow riding, machine control, braking and mobility exercises. We will also have access to the track welfare facilities so no one will go hungry or un-refreshed during the session.
The training exercises will be conducted in a safe, supportive environment, with tuition and support offered by our own training team. It’s designed to be a fun event, open to all members, that most riders could benefit from. It's important to note that this is not track based training and no high speeds will be required.
Itinerary:
- Associate briefing from Tutors starts at 09:30.
- On track activity from approximately 10:00.
- Training from RoSPA Police (Class 1) Trained Tutors
- Track-based advanced machine handling and control training at Darley Moor Circuit.
