Mo-Kan Friday Night Fun Drags

Took my Z to the dragstrip for the first time this weekend. I’ve been drag racing for over 30 years but never been down the track on a bike. It left me wanting more so I’m planning a trip to Mo-Kan Dragway on August 15. I’ve attached the track schedule and their bike rules. For most bikes, you’ll need a leather jacket, leather gloves, snell or ece rated helmet, over the heel leather boots and long pants. I’ve never been to Mo-kan so I can’t speak from experience but here’s what I do know. Friday nights are fun nights. Lots of street cars and bikes. Probably a few race cars and bikes. I believe gates open at 6 with open testing from 7-11. It’s a three and a half hour ride from Jefferson City. We will be leaving about 12 on Friday and getting a room for the night then riding back Saturday. I’d like to get a group of us to come down.
