Geology Weekend

Dig deep and learn more about what is beneath our feet! All programs are free and you do not have to be camping to attend our programs. Rain dates will be held in the Visitor Center Classroom. Vehicle passes are required for vehicles entering state parks.

Dakota Explorers: Muddy Fun

Dive in and get messy during Muddy Fun for Dakota Explorers! It’s the perfect hands-on adventure for explorers who love to get dirty.

Geology Hike

CCC Shelter Trail Head at 2pm
Geology Rocks! Join us for a group hike to explore the different geologic wonders that Turtle River has to offer!

Digging Dinos
Saturday, July 26th
Amphitheater at 8pm
Did you know that the T-rex had the strongest bite in all of history? Join us to excavate and explore the dinosaurs that walked on earth millions of years ago!
