Day 1: Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree Camp)
Your journey begins with excitement as we drive through the rainforest to Londorossi Gate for registration. A gentle hike leads us through dense forest rich in flora and fauna to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2650m). This is the first step toward the summit where the thrill of adventure ignites your spirit.
Day 2: Mti Mkubwa to Shira 1 Camp

Today’s trek takes you from the forest to the heather and moorland zones. As you ascend to Shira 1 Camp (3500m) vast landscapes unfold before your eyes offering panoramic views that remind you why you took on this challenge.
Day 3: Shira 1 to Shira 2 Camp

Day 4: Shira 2 to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower

Day 5: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

Day 7: Summit Day – Barafu to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp
Your summit attempt begins in the dead of night. With headlamps illuminating the path you push forward step by step. As the sun rises you reach Stella Point (5756m) then triumphantly stand atop Uhuru Peak (5895m)—the highest point in Africa! The reward? A breathtaking sunrise and an overwhelming sense of accomplishment.
The descent leads to Mweka Camp (3100m) where celebration and well-earned rest await.
Day 8: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate

Kili 2 Safaris – Refund Policy
At Kili 2 Safaris, we understand that travel plans may change. Below are our refund policies to ensure transparency and fairness for all travelers booking with us.
1. Cancellation by Traveler (More than 60 Days Prior to Departure)
If a traveler cancels their booking more than 60 days before the scheduled departure date, a 75% refund of the total trip cost will be issued (excluding non-refundable third-party fees such as park permits or flight tickets).
2. Cancellation by Traveler (30–59 Days Prior to Departure)
For cancellations made between 30 and 59 days prior to the trip start date, a 50% refund of the total amount paid will be granted.
3. Cancellation by Traveler (Less than 30 Days Prior to Departure)
Cancellations made less than 30 days before departure are non-refundable, except under exceptional circumstances (e.g., serious illness, death in the family) with valid documentation. In such cases, we may offer a partial refund or future travel credit at our discretion.
4. Refunds for No-Shows
No refunds will be issued for no-shows or if the traveler fails to join the trip on the scheduled date and time.
5. Cancellation by Kili 2 Safaris
In the rare event that we must cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political instability, travelers will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule without penalty.
6. Unused Services
No refunds will be provided for any unused services or portions of the trip (e.g., accommodation, meals, excursions) once the tour has started.
7. Refunds for Flight-Related Cancellations
We are not responsible for airline cancellations or delays. However, if these disruptions affect your safari start date, we may assist in rescheduling where possible, though refunds are not guaranteed.
