A healing workshop for the everyday woman who gives her all and forgets to give to herself.
“Lakay” means “home” in Haitian Creole: A word that carries warmth, roots, and return. This workshop is a sacred invitation for women to journey back to themselves. Designed for the everyday woman who pours endlessly into others while forgetting to pour into herself, Lakay: The Feminine Homecoming offers a nurturing experience to come home to the body, explore emotional needs, and remember the ancestral wisdom she already carries.
Through a powerful fusion of yoga, astrology, psychotherapy, and ancestral healing, this workshop creates space for reconnection, regulation, and remembrance. It is a space where women can exhale, soften, and reclaim the star power that has always lived within them.
Participants will experience:
• A beginner-friendly, slow-flow yoga session to a soulful neo-soul soundtrack, grounding them in body and breath.
• A moon sign reflection activity to explore emotional needs and boundaries, as written in the stars.
• A sacred sharing circle to connect through story and presence, followed by light refreshments.
• Psychoeducation on the nervous system, stress, and trauma, along with practical tools to support healing and restore balance.
• A restorative, yoga nidra–inspired meditation that calls in ancestral support, affirming that each woman is never alone, always supported, and inherently worthy.
Lakay: The Feminine Homecoming is more than a workshop, it’s a return to the self. A gentle remembrance that even in the chaos of caregiving and surviving, home is always within reach.
