Join us for our fifth annual Garlic Nirvana, the event where all your deepest garlic fantasies come true. We will have over ten different varieties of certified organic garlic available, in culinary, seed, bulk and rough and ready grades. Marisa will also have her legendary organic garlic powder available, along with a selection of black garlic for the connoisseurs among you.

Taste testing | 9am - 1pm
To many, garlic is garlic. This common misconception is the reason why we began our taste testing booth. There are actually worlds of difference between the different varieties and types of garlic we have available. Some are great raw, some for cooking, and others are spicy beyond all imagining, some will burn holes in your tongue (to each his/her own!) We have something for everyone. You will also get to score/grade the different varieties, which will assist us in describing the characteristics of our garlic to others.

Garlic growing workshop | 1pm -2pm
Join the Garlic Guru, Scott Sigurdson as he shares the mysteries of growing big garlic organically. He will be covering soil preparation, seed selection, planting, nutritional requirements, knowing when to harvest, curing your garlic and post harvest care to get the longest shelf life possible. Bring your questions, challenges and enthusiasm.
