21 parkruns in 21 hours.

On Saturday 20th September, parkrunnner Mike Rich is planning to run 21 different parkrun courses in 21 hours. This is partly to help promote parkrun ahead of its 21st birthday. It's also to raise funds for the charity that was set up following his son’s sudden death 4 years ago – the Dylan Rich Legacy Fund.

The charity provides access to sport for young people in Nottingham and several youth and conservation projects in Kenya, where Dylan travelled a couple of years before he died.

Dylan would have been 21 this year, and to mark this milestone fundraisers have been taking on a variety of 21-themed challenges. Mike's challenge is to run and travel between 21 of our local parkrun courses within 21 hours. As well as seeking donations, he is hoping that other runners will join them at a number of the courses during the day,

They will be at Bestwood Village parkrun at 1.30pm. Runners are very welcome to join them and maybe help guide them around our beautiful course, or why not have a go at several courses during the day.
