The Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present the 2025 season of the 'Music in the Park' series, along with he Township of Spallumcheen and City of Armstrong June 20 – August 22 in Memorial Park, Armstrong.
Cadillac Jack and the Blue tones consists of Gary Gilbertson -guitar and vocals, Carolyn Grant guitar and vocals, Gord Kaine bass guitar and John Hanson on drums.
Gary and Carolyn were born and raised in Dawson Creek and played for many years with the band Pilot. Now both migrated south they have reconnected and reformed as Cadillac Jack and the Blue Tones.
Gord and John have much experience working together in previous groups and venues and now have joined in on the Cadillac express.
Play list includes select tunes from classic rock, blues and country genres allowing the audience the flexibility of sampling a little bit of everything.
Food trucks for the evening are Gord'Oh's, Moose Caboose and Udderly Ice Creamto help cool off!
Armstrong Kin Club is the proud sponsor for this Friday evening of ‘Music in the Park’ in the Lions Gazebo at the Memorial Park, 3285 Pleasant Valley Rd. Armstrong.
This is a free event - please bring a non-perishable food item for the Armstrong Food Bank to Music in the Park or make a donation at Food Banks B.C. online donations portal. Watch for the chamber summer student team collecting donations.
Well maintained by the Armstrong Spallumcheen Parks and Recreation, Memorial Park is one of Armstrong’s most scenic spots with a swimming pool, children’s water park, playground, exercise equipment and lots of shade for people to come and relax all summer long. So, bring a blanket, chairs, snacks and beverages – even your dinner or support the Food truck (Wicked Waffles) on location. Relax, enjoy the fresh air and time spent with family and friends.
