The Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present the 2025 season of the 'Music in the Park' series, along with The City of Armstrong and The Township of Spallumcheen June 20 – August 22 in Memorial Park, Armstrong.
The Shades have evolved over the years, and are definitely still in their prime!
They have all been playing since their High School days, and have been involved in many different projects, from Country to Blues to Hard Rock.
They love to play the music they grew up with, from the 60’s through to present day, with a repertoire that showcases a variety of instruments and vocals
If you are a Boomer, you’ll recognize a lot of the songs on their playlist, with a mix of Country, Blues and good ol’ Rock ’n’Roll, and you’ll probably end up singing along to some of those great radio hits from back in the day.

Food trucks for the evening are Si Si Gluten Free Italian, Moose Caboose and DD Dairy.
In support of the Armstrong Food Bank, the AS Chamber of Commerce encourages everyone to bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation to the event. Watch for the chamber's summer student team collecting donations.
Well maintained by the Armstrong Spallumcheen Parks and Recreation, Memorial Park is one of Armstrong’s most scenic spots with a swimming pool, children’s water park, playground, exercise equipment and lots of shade for people to come and relax all summer long. So bring a blanket, chairs, snacks and beverages – even your dinner! Relax, enjoy the fresh air and time spent with family and friends.
