About this Event

One More Page Books and Rainbows and Reflections celebrate Pride Month with a book drive, fundraiser, chocolate pop-up, prizes, and more! We'll be joined by the founders of the nonprofit Rainbows and Reflections, which works to get LGBTQIA+ books to young readers with limited access. Promotions will include Libro.fm credits for anyone who donates $15 to Rainbows and Reflections, a prize wheel, and custom buttons (while supplies last). Drop in anytime between 11 AM and 3 PM for a fabulous party, or come at 3 for our grand finale: a panel discussion between author/librarian M.K. England, author Kosoko Jackson, OMP bookseller Sam, and both Rainbows and Reflections founders!

  • Kingsbury Chocolate Pop-up: 11 AM to 2 PM - Local chocolatier Robert Kingsbury will be selling his phenomenal confections, including the return of the Pride Bar!
  • Prize Wheel - donate to Rainbows and Reflections and get a chance to spin our Prize Wheel! (Prizes include books, swag, pins, Libro.fm credits, and more!)
  • Design Your Own Button - all day!
  • Book Drive - all day! Free prize wheel spin for folks who donate books. Guidelines for donations that Rainbows and Reflections accepts:
  • --Books featuring LGBTQIA+ characters, themes, and experiences
  • --Works by LGBTQIA+ identifying authors
  • --Books exploring diverse abilities and neurodivergence
  • --Mental health resources and self-help materials
  • --All donated materials should be in good condition
  • Author Panel: 3 PM - Promoting Accessibility to Diverse Books: Identity and Representation in Literature - a conversation between author/librarian M.K. England (ALL FIRED UP), author Kosoko Jackson (THE FOREST DEMANDS ITS DUE), OMP bookseller Sam, and one of Rainbows and Reflections' founders.
