Project Sidewalk Hackathon

Join the Safe Streets Alliance of Arlington Heights for the first of a two-part training session on Project Sidewalk, a free, online tool developed by UIC and private partners that allows users to label sidewalk infrastructure and identify accessibility barriers by visually walking/rolling through city streets using Google Street View imagery.

We will be analyzing Arlington Heights streets to identify areas where our sidewalk and crossing network is inadequate for accessibility concerns. If possible, please bring a laptop as library rentals are limited.

This session will be held in Room H on the second floor of the Arlington Heights Memorial Library at 500 N Dunton Street.

The second training session will be held Sunday, August 17, from 1-3 P.M. Refreshments will be provided.
