Community & Craftivism Opening Event

Join us for the opening of Community & Craftivism, an exhibit showcasing how art can become an opportunity to build community and advocate for change, one stitch at a time. Be the first to view the library's Community Pride Quilt, with squares decorated by more than 50 community members. Connect with quilters, artists and exhibit co-curator, Shannon Downey of Badass Cross Stitch. See Downey's beloved collaborative quilt, Rita's Quilt, get hands-on with a variety of Pride Month and craftivist projects and enjoy refreshments.

The exhibit will be on display in the library from June 12 to July 23.
