Wunderland is once again opening the doors to our workspace and inviting you to take a sneak peek in the creation of our upcoming installation.
We’re excited to host a hands-on workshop, introducing the materials we use in our sculptures.🫀🧶
The installation draws inspiration from deep time and the origin of plant life. What came before the world as we know it? And how can we explore this through art?🌵
A crucial part of Wunderland’s DNA is the transformation of the static into the living. We work with a wide range of materials—textiles, silicone, wool, cord, metal, wood, fibers, yarn, and more—to breathe life into our creations.

The workshop will be led by artistic leader Mette Aakjær. She will introduce the materials we’re currently working with and techniques for crafting them —and guide you in incorporating your own creativity into the process.
🔸This is a pay-what-you-can event, and all materials will be provided by Wunderland. However, if you have a material you love or find inspiring, feel free to bring it along!🔸
