SAMS mineral club meeting Monday May 5th

Join us Monday May 5, 2025 at 7pm at the LDS Church, 3401 Sweeten Creek Rd, Arden, NC 28704 for our monthly meeting!

Special guests Rick Jacquot and Jerry Fortenberry will present a video and talk about diving for fossils and artifacts in South Carolina’s Cooper River and other black water rivers in the southeast. The video is the; Adventure Quest show and runs approximately 22 minutes.

After the video, Rick and Jerry will answer questions and share some of the great finds they have made over the years. Megalodon teeth, ice age bones and more. They will also have limited copies of their book, Bone Hunter, available for purchase @ $15 a copy.

Following the program there will be time to socialize and talk about rocks, gems and fossils.
