Happy Trails: Country Dancing and Leather Tooling Night

Rustle up your friends for an evening of country dancing and artmaking in the park. Join Howdy Partner Dance in the Great Hall starting at 5 p.m. for a friendly group lesson to learn some basic boot scootin’ steps, then stick around for open dancing to modern Americana recordings by local Minnesota artists until 8 p.m. Mosey on by the artmaking area and try your hand at the traditional process of leather tooling led by Silverwood’s art instructors. No experience necessary. Registration is recommended for those planning to participate in the dance lesson.

Free. All ages. Drop-ins welcome. Ages 11 and under must attend with an adult.
