In this exciting and creative workshop, you'll design and make your very own glass fused mushroom top, which we will adhere to a solar-powered garden stake—perfect for adding a magical glow to your garden all year round! No experience is necessary—our amazing studio staff will guide you every step of the way!
We’ll teach you how to cut and score glass, and you’ll get to explore a HUGE variety of vibrant colors and materials including glass stringers, powders, dots, murrini, and other dazzling accents to bring your mushroom design to life. You’ll be amazed by the creative possibilities—and even more amazed when you see your finished piece!
Your first drink is included in the class fee, so come ready to sip, snack, and get inspired in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We’ll provide all tools and materials. Once your mushroom top is complete, we’ll take it back to our studio for firing and shaping over a custom mold. Then, we’ll finish it off by securely attaching it to the solar stake with durable, weatherproof adhesive—so it’s ready to brighten your garden through every season! Your masterpiece will be ready for pick-up within two weeks, and you can choose to pick it up either at Waterman’s Cafe or at Jablon Studios in Vestal Center—whichever is most convenient for you.
