From April 2026, HMRC is changing how self-employment and property income is reported, if your combined self-employment and property income was over £50,000 in 2024/25.

Here’s what MTD for IT means for you:

�You’ll need to keep digital records of income and expenses using compatible software
�Submit quarterly updates to HMRC instead of just one annual tax return
�Finalise your year-end tax position digitally
