Alamosa Homesteading Workshop

Do you own a small acreage and want to make a business out of your homesteading skills? Do you want to learn a new skill and be more self-sufficient? Then don’t miss out on our SLV CSU Extension 2025 Homestead Community Skill Share.

Topics to be covered will include fiber, cheese making, cut flowers, basic goat care, planning your garden, tortilla making, bolita beans and soooo much more!

There will be 3 workshops. May 3 will be hosted in Antonito at the Senior Center. May 10 will be hosted in Alamosa at the Boys and Girls Club. May 17 will be hosted in San Luis at the San Luis People’s Market Annex.

These workshops will be from 9am to 2pm.

The cost is $10 per workshop. Kids are free!

Register for 1 workshop or all 3. If you attend all 3 workshops your name will be entered in a raffle for a baby dairy goat kid!

Participación en habilidades comunitarias de Homestead 2025— ¡Un evento para toda la familia!

¿Tienes una pequeña finca y quieres convertir tus habilidades agrícolas en un negocio? ¿Quieres aprender una nueva habilidad y ser más autosuficiente? No te pierdas nuestro Programa de Participación en Habilidades Agrícolas de la Comunidad de Extensión CSU de SLV 2025.

Los temas que se cubrirán incluirán fibra, elaboración de queso, flores cortadas, cuidado básico de las cabras, planificación de su jardín, elaboración de tortillas, frijoles bolita y ¡mucho más!

Se realizarán tres talleres. El 3 de mayo se realizará en Antonito, en el Centro para Personas Mayores. El 10 de mayo se realizará en Alamosa, en el Boys and Girls Club. El 17 de mayo se realizará en San Luis, en el Mercado Popular de San Luis.

Estos talleres se realizarán de 9:00 a. m. a 2:00 p. m.

El costo es de $10 por taller. ¡Los niños entran gratis!

Inscríbase en uno o los tres talleres. Si asiste a los tres, ¡participará en el sorteo de un cabrito lechero!
