Exhibit Launch: Sisters of St. Martha in Antigonish Area

Join us for the launch of a new exhibit: Gospel Hospitality in Action: The Sisters of St. Martha in the Antigonish Area, as we celebrate the 125th anniversary of the congregation. Drawn from various archival collections, this exhibit looks at the many contributions made by the Sisters since their founding by Bishop John Cameron and Rev. Dr. Daniel Chisholm. From their origins in household management at StFX to the opening of St. Martha's Hospital, and from their work in the classroom to their 21st century commitment to climate justice, the Marthas have helped to shape our communities in countless ways. Join us for this special celebration.
The official opening and reception will be followed by a walk along Main Street to StFX University and the Sisters' first Convent in what is now part of the Coady Institute. All are welcome!
