Looking forward to this month's swap in Antigonish! We will be meeting at Chisholm Park if the weather cooperates and back at the Farmers Market in case of rain. BYO chair or picnic blanket and your homemade/handmade treasures to swap :)
For those who are new to these bartering events, you are welcome to join us - here's a few things that will be helpful to know:
* Makers Swaps are free community events, all are welcome
* Bring homemade and handmade items to trade with other makers from Antigonish (common items are paintings, baked goods, kombucha, soap, knit scarves and dishclothes and hats, harvested items like berries, canned items and preserves, carvings, pottery, cards, lotions and creams..)
* Whatever you bring will go onto a community table and when we swap, we go one by one to take items from the table until everything has been rehomed. People often bring 4-8 items but whatever you can bring to participate is always enough and appreciated - everyone within their means.
* Bring a friend or two - it is always fun to swap with newbies!
