Hopeless Semantics
Linda Null and Mike Slusser perform as Hopeless Semantics, a well-loved duo throughout south central PA and northern VA. Linda and Mike met in 2017, started to perform together in 2021, and formed a duo in August of 2022. They share their vocal talents individually as well as in combination to create unforgettable harmonies and duets. "Mandolin Mike" is a talented and gifted mandolin player, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist with over four decades of experience under his belt, including 17 years in Nashville. Linda plays keys and guitar but is best known as a dynamic and soulful vocalist who captivates listeners with her technical skill, rich tone, and ability to convey emotion.
Jackson Houston
Originally from small town Minnesota - Jackson Houston is Currently based in Mount Joy, playing in area venues including Bubes Brewery, Loxley's, and Weathered Vineyards, both as a solo performer and with his friends in Abigail's Garden. Jackson developed a broad appreciation for many types of music. He was a choir and band kid with encouraging teachers and parents and with classic rock always playing on the radio, a sister blasting punk rock from the room next door, and friends with a myriad of musical tastes. His inspiration for songwriting has come strongly from singer/songwriters such as John Prine, John Craigie, and Noah Kahan. Though all music has been influential - Folk and Americana seem to have taken root at the core of Jackson's music.
Alex Stanilla
The protagonists of ALEX STANILLA’s songs live at the intersection of fact and fiction, the push and pull between introspective honesty and rich character study. “I’m really inspired by film,” the Lebanon, PA-based singer-songwriter says. “My lyrical style tends to take an impressionistic view of films, with the subtext of watching it through a different lens and using it to interpret my life.”
Ed Mashas
Ed Mashas is a singer songwriter in his 60’s who grew up in the 60’s. He also grew up with two older brothers who listened to music all the time. Ed cut his eye teeth on the Beatles, the Stones, the Hollies, Herman’s Hermits, Motown and other bands and music still being listened to today. Then, later on, Dylan became a major influence along with contemporary gospel music.
