Rams Head Presents The Sixties Show at Maryland Hall
The Sixties Show is from New York City and is The Greatest 1960s Musical Recreation Show on Earth! This popular, award-winning Off-Broadway production is a high-energy, multimedia immersive experience that transports audiences back to the 1960s, centered around a live, note-for-note concert re-creation.
Featuring current and former members of The Who and John Fogerty, this show is a crowd-pleaser across generations, selling out nearly every theater and performing arts center it visits. The band is renowned for its spot-on, note-for-note re-creations of the biggest hits, beloved B-sides, and deep album cuts from the greatest music of the 1960s.
All of the music is performed completely live - no samples, backing tracks, or prerecorded elements of any kind. The band plays through a state-of-the-art sound system but uses only authentic 1960s vintage and reissue gear, staying true to the instruments and tones of the original artists and recordings. Paired with genuine mod-era costumes, the show’s attention to detail delivers a truly powerful and immersive 1960s experience.
The members of The Sixties Show were hand-picked to perform and record with music legends including The Who, Paul McCartney, The Beach Boys, Brian Wilson, The Bee Gees, Mick Jagger, John Fogerty, Bruce Springsteen, Walter Becker, Donald Fagen, and more. Individually, they’ve performed at some of the world’s most renowned venues, such as Madison Square Garden, the Hollywood Bowl, Wembley Stadium, the Grand Rex in Paris, the Budokan in Tokyo, and others.
