African Instrument Making Workshop - Fundraiser for the 35th Annual Kunta Kinte Heritage Festival

Join us at The Chesapeake Children's Museum for a fun-draiser benefitting the 35th Annual Kunta Kinte Heritage Festival!

Adults and families are invited to learn about West African percussion and make their own instrments.

All materials provided for you to make:
a shekere (gourd shaker)
rain stick
sistrum

Workshop fee: $25 Adults, $10 kids 5-17y/o, $5 kids 1-4 y/o

Learn some rhythms on your new instrument then stick around after the workshop and try them at the drum circle!
