8 Ball Movie Night: "Very Special Guest" double feature

8 Ball Movie Night is a free bi-monthly meet-up for the Burnout Society Film Club.
For this event we're celebrating the work of actor/director/writer/comedy-genius-turned-up-to-11 Christopher Guest! While most people know him from the legendary mockumentary THIS IS SPINAL TAP (which we featured in a previous double feature) now is a chance to check out his other hilarious work with WAITING FOR GUFFMAN (1996) and A MIGHTY WIND (2003).
We're planning this as an indoor movie night in the Blind Pig, but stay tuned because hopefully weather will cooperate and we can have this be the first outdoor movie night on the 8-Ball Patio for the season! In which case start time will adjust to approximately 9 p.m. for sundown.

First up:
7:30 p.m. WAITING FOR GUFFMAN
This movie follows a questionably talented and oddball director and cast in small town Missouri attempting to put together a musical theater production in hopes of winning over a Broadway producer.

9 p.m. Intermission Trivia
Answer difficult questions, win fabulous prizes! 3 rounds of 5 questions based on the movies and theme of the night.

10 p.m. A MIGHTY WIND
A mockumentary that follows the reuniting of the "legendary" 60s folk bands to memorialize a recently deceased music producer.
