Quilt of Valor and Steak event at Ankeny Hy-Vee

There is a wonderful opportunity coming up that we want to share with everyone!! Lynn Koester and Karen Brokelsby have created a beautiful Quilt of Valor quilt! This quilt will be displayed during the Iowa State Fair.

But..... it gets better!! This same quilt will be on display at the Hy-Vee on 2510 SW State St in Ankeny. This great event is occurring on Thursday, July 3rd from 4-7pm.

But......it gets better!! While you are there you should enjoy a delicious steak dinner with all of the fixings for only $12. You will not be disappointed with your meal. You may eat your meal at Hy-Vee or have it for take out, so make sure your family and friends are included in this event!

But.....there is more!! By attending the event you will be supporting our circle and helping us stay in existence. What is the most amazing thing is this awesome quilt will be given to a deserving veteran at the VA in Marshaltown in 2026 for warmth and comfort.
