Join the Ankeny Young Professionals for our November Lunch & Learn, featuring special guest Derek Lord, Economic Development Director for the City of Ankeny.

In his role, Derek focuses on business retention, expansion, and recruitment—key drivers behind Ankeny’s rapid growth and thriving business community. He’ll share insights into current development projects, strategies for supporting local businesses, and what’s ahead for Ankeny’s economic future.

Come early for networking beginning at 11:30 AM, followed by Derek’s presentation at noon. Lunch is provided, thanks to our generous sponsor, The District.

AYP hosts a variety of educational programs throughout the year designed to help members grow their knowledge in business, leadership, and community development while connecting with other professionals.
